Sad.......

Well, I know that many of you are in shock about last nights results. While we can be happy that it is proven now that America is a different country (with regard to race) than she was in centuries past (and finally, Jesse and Al can shutup for good and get real jobs), we are still sad about the outcome. You (and I ) face a good bit of persecution for our beliefs with regard to this election. No matter what your real reason for not wanting Barack Obama, his supporters think you oppose him for only one reason-because he is black. I, personally, am proud that America has reached a point where we aren't collectively so predudice that only a white male can be president. But! In my opinion, Barack Obama is a con man who believes in killing babies, has close associations with anti-american people and he is not going to bring blessing upon our country. Be prepared people. Be vigilant. Watch and wait.

I agree with your comments. Rick and Bubba said they saw Jesse Jackson crying during Obama's acceptance speech and they thought he was probably crying not because Obama won, but because he knew he was going to be out of a JOB now! Although, we are a little shocked too. We know the truth, that we serve a sovreign God who is able to turn the hearts of kings like rivers of water... wherever He pleases. We will continue to pray for all the leaders in our country.

Well, I've already heard Al Sharpton getting on TV and saying there was still 'so much to do'-(that one election doesn't change all the disparities in race). How convenient-for him! In my opinion, the only thing that will change the disparities in race is if most blacks have to work for what they get, then they will appreciate it. I have personally seen how people who are used to getting handouts can destroy the lives of others who work hard. They will never 'rise up' til they rise up and get a job and say 'NO' to gov't handouts. Gov't help should be for those who are working and need a little shoring up here and there, not for generations of people who live in gov't housing & receive gov't checks with no plans to get off the entitlement train. You are right about our Lord, though. If I didn't know that this was God's will, I couldn't have peace. I wanna go back to school and get my masters and phd and then go into politics. Maybe I'll go to UA when Abbey does.
How come you don't have a blog. Also, get a facebook. There is nothing childish or mystical about it. It is a great way to keep up with people-much better than e-mail or phone.
